From 8:30 to 3:00 ustairs at the Sunderland Legion the King Edward Masonic Lodge offers the MasoniCh.I.P. Program The MasoniCh.I.P. program uses modern, police-approved techniques to create a child identification kit for the ones you love. The kit collects photos, video, voice recordings, digital fingerprints, dental impressions, saliva swabs as well as traditional statistical information (height, weight, hair and eye colour, etc.). This information is matched to work seamlessly with Ontario's law enforcement providers. By being so compatible, the critical indentifying information can be broadcast and shared more quickly than ever before to assist with the safe recovery of missing children. The MasoniCh.I.P. program is brought exclusively to families by dedicated Masons and their volunteers, free of charge along with our sentiment that "We hope you never need to use it."

What's in a MasoniCh.I.P. Kit? When a child has a kit prepared, their parent or guardian will receive a printed colour data sheet with several ID card inserts, a CD-ROM storing all the digital information, and a sealed bag with the dental plate and cheek swab. All this material and information is given to the parent or guardian. No information is ever stored by the MasoniChIP program.

Bus Tours: Saturday and Sunday After a life time of involvement in many types of alternative livestock, and

15 years of enjoying Koi as a hobby, an opportunity presented itself to expand the scope of our love of Koi into a full fledged breeding operation. We opened Lake Ridge Farm Koi Nursery & Water Gardens on August 19, 2006. We offer a full range of pond and water garden building and maintenance supplies, as well a wide and interesting selection of aquatic plants and other pond enhancements.

Our breeding program is primarily based on brood stock imported from Japan. The careful selection of quality stock is evident in the beautiful individuals we have on display, as well as in the stock we have for sale. We are very pleased and proud to offer tours of our Koi and water garden facility and the opportunity to view and interact with our other unique livestock as well.

Foo is a likable creature from the fictitious island of Tubegosh, who interacts with children of all ages when they are invited to ”feed the Foo”.
Helen from Foo Productions

Foo’s professional ”handler” is present, assisting in the feeding procedure and providing snacks Foo likes to eat. A bottle is on hand for those who prefer to give Foo a drink. Watch out: the Foo likes to escape from time to time!
Helen from Foo Productions
Foo can also be let out of the pen and taken around the site by the handler.
”Feed the Foo” was a recent hit at Toronto’s Buskerfest last summer, and is the featured act at the Maple Festival in Sunderland, Ontario on April 4 at 11am, 12:30 and 2pm. Come on down and ”Feed the Foo”! For Utube footage, enter ”Feed the Foo” and witness this extraordinary creature in action! See you at the festival!
